Customer Success – Customer Success Agent

About the role

A major factor of the company’s success is exemplary customer service. A dedicated Customer Success Agent will have the following responsibilities

  • Respond to client/end-user inquiries through our support/ticketing system.
  • Create and configure our platform for the client and manage ongoing updates/revisions.
  • Monitor new feature requests from existing clients and help translate them into development specs with our management team

 

Requirements

  • Very professional and able to conduct themselves in a way that reflects well on the company with high profile clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

 

We’d be really excited if you have experience with

  • Experience with a ticket tracking system (Zendesk, Bugzilla, Trello, etc).
  • Experience in the education technology space or similar enterprise software background.
  • Experience with Media Conversion Software.

Business Development – Business Development Representative

 

What is DecisionDesk?

DecisionDesk is a high-growth EdTech company based in Lakewood, OH. Our product is designed to replace legacy enterprise systems with a web-based end-to-end application management platform. We drive value for our customers by increasing completed applications, ultimately resulting in better yield and student fit. We are a young, fast-paced work environment and have nearly doubled in size each year with over 100 active university customers.

 

Position Overview

We are looking for someone who can manage the front end of our sales funnel. This hire would work under our VP Sales, in conjunction with our marketing team helping to curate leads and drive new business opportunities. The primary metric for success will be identifying qualified leads and booking appointments for our field sales representatives.

 

Responsibilities include

  •  Study our buyer personas and have a deep understanding of the value drivers our product delivers
  •  Work in Salesforce and Pardot to identify prospects
  •  Persistently follow up with calls to targets that have shown interest
  •  Schedule appointments and demos for enterprise-level deals

 

Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree
  •  Great communication skills, and able to sound proficient in a conversation with C-Level prospects

 

Preferred, but not required

  •  Experience in higher education
  •  BDR or Inside Sales experience
  •  Experience at a B2B SaaS or Enterprise Software company
  •  Experience in Salesforce, Pardot, or similar CRM and Marketing Automation tools

Customer Success – Solutions Architect

DecisionDesk is an application and admissions decision manager for Higher Education servicing over 100 clients. We are a fast-paced and energetic startup looking for key members to help shape the next iteration of our core product.

 

About the Role

You’ll be reporting to the VP of Customer Success, working closely with engineering, sales, and customer success, to configure, provision, and deploy our solution for clients.

Our ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, including experience with enterprise-level cloud integrations with a client’s existing software. It will require strong communication, organization, and project management skills. You’ll be working with a small team and will be conducting on-site discovery with pre-sales clients and act as the post-sales point person for requirements gathering, statement of work generation, and client communication.

 

We need you to have experience with

  • Statement of Work creation
  • Technical Document creation
  • Defining and writing specifications
  • Pre-sales client discovery and product demonstration
  • Post-sales requirements gathering and product on-boarding
  • Agile project management
  • SaaS/Web App software delivery

Engineering – Full Stack Developer

 

What is DecisionDesk?

DecisionDesk is an application and recruitment manager for Higher Education servicing over 100 clients. We are a fast-paced and energetic startup looking for key members to help shape the next iteration of our core product.

 

About the Role

The DecisionDesk Engineering team develops and maintains DecisionDesk, our eponymous application management software. You’ll play a key role in our codebase, working closely with product management and the UX staff on new features, and then working with our other engineers to get those ideas out in front of our users. We are cultivating a fast-paced, agile development environment where creativity and teamwork are paramount. Successful candidates are individuals who thrive on collaborative teams where everyone works on everything, and everyone is encouraged to contribute ideas across all levels of the organization.

We are working in Python and Ruby, and are seeking a mid-level developer that brings several years of experience with Python, Ruby, PHP, Java or C#. You’ll be working with a small team, shipping code several times a week.

 

We need you to have experience with

  • 2+ years of relevant experience as well as a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent is required;
  • Experience with Ruby or Python (Django, Tastypie, MongoEngine, Gunicorn) is preferred. We are open to considering candidates with PHP, Java or C# experience as well;
  • Experience with JavaScript, specifically nodejs as well as JS MVC Frameworks (e.g. Backbone, Ember) is preferred;
  • Ability to learn new technologies, tools and platforms quickly;
  • Ability to work quickly in a startup environment where balance of speed and quality code is paramount;
  • Experience building public APIs and SOA architectures preferred;
  • Experience with Version Control tools and workflow (Git, GitHub) is preferred;
  • Experience with Relational Database Systems (PostgresSQL, MySQL) is preferred;
  • Experience in a Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration environment is preferred.

 

We’d be really excited if you have experience with

  • Experience with CSS pre-processors such as Less/Sass;
  • Modular CSS: Writing css using modular methods (SMACSS) that is responsive and re-usable; (bonus points for CSS testing);
  • Non-relational database systems (MongoDB);
  • RabbitMQ, Celery;
  • JavaScript unit testing;
  • Responsive design / Mobile Web;
  • Experience with building micro-services.
